NCF offers Certification Only Workshops

Noz is able to offer certification in a variety of disciplines including HRD, SAR, and Narcotics Detection through the following associations:

AKC, NAPWDA, NASAR, NNDDA, NSDA

We are able to certify teams in the following specializations:

AKC - Canine Good Citizen

NAPWDA - Area, Cadaver Obedience, SAR, Tracking, Trailing, Wildlife Search Test.

NASAR - HRD - Land and Water, Canine Area III, II, I., Trailing IV, III, II, I.

NNDA - Narcotics.

NSDA - Area Search, Area Search w/ Large Source,  Backtracking, Trailing, Water & Land HRD

Here is how it works.

Participation:

  • One team for certifications per visit, One dog one handler = one team.

  • If testing and a failure occurs the canine team will no longer run the additional sources for training. The remaining sources shall be run by those testing as they are the focus.

  • If a team that failed would like to continue training they have the option to do so for additional 220.00 per day, bringing the participant’s fees to the equivalent of a day’s training rate at Perseverance Ranch, per day.

  • If a team that fails decides not to use the occasion to train, they may continue to use NCF housing facilities, but must remove themselves completely from the working area for the duration of the workshop.

Logistics:

  • Most certifications can be completed in one or two days of testing. 

  • All certifications will be free of instruction and certification fees.  While attending a certification at the facility a candidate will be charged for use of the facility, lodging, and kenneling as follows:

One day certification - $205 plus tax.  Includes two days use of the New Mexico facility, lodging and kenneling - the nights prior to and following testing.

Two day certification - $380 plus tax.  Includes three days use of the New Mexico facility, lodging and kenneling - the nights prior to, during, and following testing.

Cancelation Policy:

Cancellations made eleven or more days before the scheduled start of a class or certification workshop will receive full credit only toward future classes or workshops at NCF.
Cancellations made ten or fewer days before the scheduled start of a class or certification workshop will receive no refund.
